Dicalcium Phosphate dihydrate CaHPO4.2H2O, is produced by a wet process that comprises the following phases:

a. Reaction of phosphoric rock with hydrochloric acid, main raw materials, a process from which a monocalcium phosphate liquor is obtained.
b. Purification of the remaining solution by means of the removal of the inert matter and undesirable compounds.
c. Production of dicalcium phosphate by means of calcium salts precipitation.
d. Product filtration.
e. Drying of dicalcium phosphate at moderate temperature to keep its two water molecules.

Dicalcium phosphate is commercialized as PHOSBIC, a solid product with a 18.5% phosphorus concentration.

Domestic Dispatch (in Peru)
Dicalcium phosphate is sold in laminated and woven polypropylene bags, weighing 30 kg.

Export Shipping

Dicalcium phosphate is sold in laminated and woven polypropylene bags, weighing 30 kg, or in big-bags of approximately 1000 to 1200 kg.

0.710 g/ml

Fine dust almost white that decomposes at 70° C.
  Its grading corresponds to a 70% less of mesh 170 (90 u).

Dicalcium phosphate is insoluble in water. Its solubility in
citric acid is 98% and in ammonium citrate, 98%.

Its pH is 6.5 to 7.0

Dicalcium phosphate is a source of phosphorus and calcium in the nutrition formulation used in breeding different animal species.

Used for poultry, cattle, pigs and all animal species.
